Mills

A classic strategy board game for two players.

About Mills

Mills brings the classic strategy board game Nine Men's Morris to your phone. Place, move and fly your pieces to form mills and capture your opponent's pieces — play against the computer (CPU), pass the phone for local hot-seat matches, or connect two devices over Bluetooth for head-to-head play.

The computer opponent adapts to three difficulty levels, from a forgiving beginner opponent to a sharp, deep-searching challenger. Your profile and match stats are tracked locally, and the whole experience works fully offline — no account and no internet connection required.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mills free to play?

Yes. Mills is free to download and play from Google Play. It is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, and there is no subscription.

Does Mills work without an internet connection?

Yes. The computer opponent, local hot-seat matches and Bluetooth multiplayer all run entirely on your device. Only the ads need a connection; the game itself never does.

Can two people play Mills on separate phones?

Yes. Bluetooth multiplayer pairs two nearby devices directly, with no server, no account and no internet connection involved. You can also pass a single phone back and forth in local hot-seat mode.

What is Nine Men's Morris?

Nine Men's Morris, known as Mice in Bosnian, is a two-player strategy board game played across Europe for centuries. Each player places nine pieces on a board of twenty-four points, then moves them to form mills of three in a row; every mill removes one of the opponent's pieces. A player who is down to two pieces, or who cannot make a legal move, loses.

Which languages does Mills support?

Bosnian, English and German.

What data does Mills collect?

The game asks for no account and no personal details, and keeps your profile and match statistics on your device. The Google AdMob SDK that serves the ads collects an advertising ID, device and app information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data. The privacy policy sets this out in full.
